Inspired by ancient Southwest art, this pieced and appliqued quilt uses the colors of the Southwest. The designs are all original and hand drawn, and include Kokopelli, horse, turtle, buffalo, sun, fish, lizard, hunter, bird, dragonfly, goat, and healer. It can be made as a Block of the Month. Each block features a large central applique, a smaller related applique, and 2 different pieced blocks. The instructions also include directions for making "bobbin work" decorative thread embroidered components which can be done by machine, or you can do hand embroidery if you prefer. The quilt is 83 x 105 inches finished. The blocks can also be made as 22 x 22 inch wallhangings. This is a stunning quilt!
